I’m Andrea Feeney and I am the teacher and baker behind Boston Bakeology.

I began one day with and idea.. what if I took my love of baking and cooking, and taught others in their own homes? That was when my mobile cooking school business was born. The vision behind Boston Bakeology is to share my love and knowledge of baking to help create lasting memories in your own kitchen.

Originally from a small farm in the Northwest of Ireland (County Sligo), Andrea has always had a passion for cooking and baking! It started out in her home kitchen helping her mother bake (or lick the mixer), her dad who was a great cook too inspired her love of the kitchen.

The unsocial hours of being a chef didn't appeal, and so teaching Home Economics ended up being a good choice. Andrea has taught in schools in both Ireland and the US, as well as private classes in and around the Boston area. This has only deepened Andrea’s love of inspiring and teaching the next generation of bakers and chefs!

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Education in Home Economics and Irish language from the National University of Ireland and a Masters in Health Education from Cambridge College. As well as teaching people how to cook delicious food; nutrition and health are high on the agenda!!
