Queen Cakes (Buns)

Ingredients

  • 100g (1 stick) margarine/butter

  • 100g (1/2 cup) sugar 

  • 150g (1 1/4cup) flour (all-purpose)

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 eggs

  • About 1-2 tablespoons milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.

  2. Line muffin tin.

  3. Cream butter & sugar until smooth. (Use mixing bowl/wooden spoon, OR a food processor/kitchen aid with paddle attachment).

  4. Add flour and baking powder.. (Sieve or whisk first...).

  5. Add eggs, vanilla & milk.

  6. Put about a tbsp full of mixture in liners. 

  7. Bake for 18-20 mins
